Japanese business hopes for dialogue with China despite political tension

January 6, Fineko/abc.az. The heads of major Japanese business groups expressed a hope for maintaining dialogue with China and deepening economic cooperation, despite strained bilateral relations due to statements by Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi on Taiwan.

ABC.AZ informs that the chairmen of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Keidanren Business Federation stressed the importance of economic dialogue and expressed regret over the postponement of a traditional business trip to China. Japanese companies also fear a negative impact on trade and possible restrictions from Beijing.
