January 13, Fineko/abc.az. The Accounts Chamber conducted an audit of the compliance of the management of public funds and property in the Agency of State Reserves with legal acts.

ABC.AZ informs that during the audit, it was found that 1 million manats allocated from the State Budget for the purchase of 2 locomotives at the expense of state capital investments (investment expenses), as well as 200,000 manats intended for the overhaul of the grain elevator complex, were not properly accounted for.

Thus, by the end of 2023, 822,184 manats were spent on the purchase of locomotives, and an additional 44,250 manats were spent on technical inspection and obtaining an opinion. However, these amounts were not attributed to the agency's authorized capital in accordance with the requirements of the Cabinet Ministers’ Resolution dated October 22, 2010.

Despite the recommendations of the Accounts Chamber, the identified shortcomings have not yet been eliminated, and monitoring on this issue continues.
