January 13, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Oct 2025, Azerbaijan imported 85.3 tons of natural honey for $478,000 (26% less in value terms and 25% less in quantity versus Jan-Oct 2024), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan purchased 22.55 tons of products from Turkey for $128,100 (-41% and -49% against 2024), 20.2 tons from Ukraine for $100,800, 16 tons from Russia for $79,000 (-74% and -74%), 8.7 tons from Belarus for $54,500 (no supplies in 2024), 8.8 tons from Georgia for $44,000 (+17% and +13%).

After a break of 5 years and 9 months, Azerbaijan resumed supplies from the UK – 0.02 tons for $100, after 5 years and 6 months – from Hungary – 0.01 tons for $100, and after 2 years and 3 months – from Mexico – 0.07 tons for $500.

In 2024, 49% of the 139 tons of natural honey imported in Azerbaijan from 11 countries came from Russia, 33% from Turkey, and 12% from Georgia.
