January 14, Fineko/abc.az. An Azerbaijani-Italian business forum is to be held in Baku.

This was announced at a meeting between AZPROMO and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO).

At the meeting, potential spheres of cooperation with Italian organizations were noted, presentations were made about the investment opportunities of our country, as well as about the Alat Free Economic Zone.

The sides also exchanged views on the Memorandum of Understanding and Action Plan to be signed between AZPROMO and ITA within the Azerbaijani-Italian business forum this year.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Alat FEZ, the Italian Confederation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, the Italian Deposit & Loan Fund, insurance services for foreign trade and the Italian Society for Enterprises Operating Abroad.

The date of the Azerbaijani-Italian business forum has not been fixed.
