January 15, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Oct 2025, Azerbaijan imported 2.72 million carnations for $188,000 from foreign countries.

ABC.AZ informs, with reference to the State Statistics Committee, that compared with Jan-Oct 2024, this indicator increased by 63% in value terms and by 72% in quantitative terms.

Azerbaijan purchased 2.46 million carnations from Turkey for $146,500 (76% more than a year earlier), 214,000 carnations for $22,820 from China (no supplies a year earlier), 22,120 carnations for $10,140 from Colombia (-13% compared to cost and -4% in quantity), from Ecuador - 15,150 carnations for $4,120 (-73% and -78%, respectively), from the Netherlands — 2,440 carnations for $2,440 (+37% in value, but -24% in quantity).

For the first time in the last 14 years (note: official foreign trade statistical data is publicly available for the period up to 2011), deliveries from Ethiopia - 820 carnations for $620.
