January 15, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, as part of a collegial assessment conducted by the Main Audit Court of Saudi Arabia, a number of aspects requiring improvement were identified in the activities of the Accounts Chamber.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to Accounts Chamber's new Strategic Plan 2026-2030, the assessment was conducted based on INTOSAI Peer Review Guideline No. 1900.

The Assessment Report says that in cases of full implementation of the decisions taken on the audited organizations, it is advisable to submit official notifications about this.

At the same time, it is recommended not to store information systems in one server center, but to transfer them to a Government cloud.

The report also points to the need to review password policies for systems, separate procurement and finance functions, and form a separate cybersecurity structure among areas requiring improvement.

In addition, it was recognized that it is necessary to strengthen the Training Center, increase the number of employees, as well as implement additional improvements in the field of digitalization and auditing of information systems.
