January 16, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku branch of Bank Melli Iran completed 2025 with net profit of 4.411 million manats. The branch finished 2024 with net profit of 7.716 million manats (43% less than a year earlier).

ABC.AZ informs that according to bank's financial statements, in 2024 the net interest income of the Baku branch of Bank Melli Iran totaled 5.7 million manats, and in 2025 it increased up to 5.667 million manats.

As of January 1, 2026, the assets of the Bank of Iran amounted to 120.29 million manats (1% more than at the end of the previous year). Of them, 2.309 million manats account for loans given to customers. Over the past year, the loan portfolio of the Baku branch has grown by 54.3%.

The total liabilities of the bank reached 66.938 million manats, overall capital - 53.353 million manats, accumulated loss - 20.259 million manats.
