January 21, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has significantly increased imports of non-monetary gold for the first 11 months of 2025.

ABC.AZ informs that the country imported 48,402 kg of gold worth a total of $5.4 billion during this period.

For comparison, in 11 months of 2024, gold imports reached 34,083 kg for $2.714 billion. Thus, on an annual basis, gold imports grew by 42.02% in quantitative terms and by 85.71% in value.

In November 2025 alone, Azerbaijan imported 3,961 kg of gold for $526.68 million.

In November, the cost of 1 kg of gold imported by Azerbaijan was $132,978.
