January 23, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, Azerbaijan exported 1.405 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products obtained from bituminous rocks for $742.2 million to the Czech Republic.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee that compared with 2024, this figure decreased in value by $338.8 million or 31.3%, and in physical volume – by 365,000 tons or 20.6%.

In 2024, Azerbaijan exported 1.77 million tons of oil and petroleum products to the Czech Republic, and the total volume of exports in value terms reached $1.082 billion.

In 2025, our country exported 23.4 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products obtained from bituminous rocks to 21 countries around the world. The total value of exports reached $12.1 billion.

Compared with 2024, the value dropped by $2.4 billion, or 16.2%, while in physical terms, a rise of 215,000 tons, or 0.9%, was recorded.

In 2025, exports of these goods made up 48.28% of country's overall exports.
