Germany increases ‘winter’ aid package to Ukraine to €85 million

January 30, Fineko/abc.az. Germany increased the volume of the winter aid package to Ukraine by €15 million up to €85 million, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Economic Cooperation & Development of Germany.

The funds are aimed at decentralized energy and heat supply.

As part of the assistance, two mobile thermal power plants have already been transferred to Kiev, and in the future it is planned to supply generators, boiler rooms and battery systems. According to the Ministry, these thermal power plants will be able to provide electricity and heat to nearly 86,000 people, as well as social and administrative facilities.
