January 30, Fineko/abc.az. Today, the launch ceremony of the Poti-Baku high-speed block train has taken place in the Georgian port of Poti with the participation of the management of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) and Georgian Railways JSC.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to ADY that the importance of launching a new express train was highlighted at the event and it was noted that this service will allow cargo owners to save not only on time, but also on the storage of goods and empty containers in terminals.

The block train, which will run on the Poti-Baku route, will connect the ports of the Black Sea with the ports and terminals of Azerbaijan and at the same time become a simplified logistics service that will allow cargo owners to receive containers from Poti to Baku and back on time and without any delays.
