February 2, Fineko/abc.az. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic will be subordinated to the President of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that this issue is reflected in the draft law “On approval of the amendments to the Constitution of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic”, discussed at today's plenary session of the Parliament.

Under valid law, the NAR Cabinet Ministers is subordinate to the NAR Supreme Majlis and regularly reports to it.

According to the bill, the NAR Cabinet will report to the NAR Supreme Majlis on its activities. The NAR Cabinet will determine the working procedure in coordination with the Azerbaijani President.

The bill was put up for discussion and adopted on the second vote. The first vote was held on July 8, 2025.
