February 10, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 122.45 tons of strawberries and garden strawberries (fresh) for $140,670 for Jan-Nov 2025 (3-fold more in value and 7-fold more in volume against Jan-Nov 2024), ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan bought 117 tons for $121,640 from Russia (no supplies a year earlier), 2 tons for $10,210 from Egypt (no supplies a year earlier), and 2.61 tons for $6,520 from Turkey (85% less than a year ago), 0.79 tons for $1,970 from Iran (-1.5% in value, +7% in volume) and 0.01 tons for $33,000 from the U.S.

Last year, import from the U.S. was carried out for the first time in the last 14 years (note: official foreign trade statistical data is publicly available as of 2011), .

In 2024, 94.7% of the 24.5 tons of strawberries imported in Azerbaijan was carried out from Turkey.
