Russia's external public debt exceeds $60 bn

February 13, Fineko/abc.az. The state external debt of the Russian Federation has exceeded the mark of $60 bn for the first time since 2006, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Russian Ministry of Finance.

Thus, the state external debt of Russia as of February 1, 2026 reached $61.97 bn.

As of January 1, 2006, the external national debt amounted to $76.5 bn, and as of January 1, 2007, $52 bn and further did not exceed the mark of $60 bn, according to the Ministry.
