February 16, Fineko/abc.az. This January, Azerbaijan's trade turnover with foreign countries amounted to $3.538 bn, including exports for $2.236 bn and imports for $1.302 bn, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Customs Committee.

Over the year, export lowered by 26.4% and import by 36.5%.

As a result, the foreign trade surplus reached $934 million (5.3% less than a year ago).
