February 17, Fineko/abc.az. This January, Azerbaijan exported 60,692 tons of fruits and vegetables for $79.689 million ($19.2 million (31.7%) more and 2,619 tons (4.5%) more against January 2025), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee.

The share of fruits and vegetables in exports of the main non-oil products of Azerbaijani origin makes up 29.7%. Of the foreign trade turnover, $2.236 billion accounted for exports and $1.302 billion for imports. Decline of 26.4% recorded on exports and 36.5% on imports.

As a result, the foreign trade surplus reached $934 million (5.3% less than a year ago).
