February 17, Fineko/abc.az. The United States may discuss access to Iranian minerals at upcoming talks with Iran.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to TV channel CNN’s sources, that a similar point has already been raised at the talks between Washington and Tehran in 2025. At that time, the possibility was discussed that, in addition to the nuclear program agreements, Iran would provide the U.S. with priority access to a number of resources, including rare earths, oil and gas. It is expected that this topic "will be raised again".

A new round of negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program between the U.S. and Iran is scheduled to take place on February 17 in Geneva under the mediation of Oman.
