Georgia’s Credo Bank imposes a commission of 30 lari for inactive accounts of foreigners

February 18, Fineko/abc.az. Since September 2025, Credo Bank (Georgia) has started charging 30 lari (nearly $11) monthly from foreign clients in the absence of account transactions.

ABC.AZ informs that the payment is displayed as a cross boarding fee in the app.

The commission is charged even with a zero balance - the amount goes into arrears, which can accumulate for up to six months, after which the account is blocked.

Credo bank was one of the most loyal banks to foreigners in Georgia, especially among Russian citizens who opened accounts en masse in 2022.
