February 18, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 37,549 automobiles (with gasoline and diesel engines) for $648.65 million in 2025 (15% less in value and 29% less in quantity versus 2024), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan purchased 1,131 cars (-46%) from South Korea for $113.8 million (48% more than a year earlier), 2,151  cars (-62%) from Japan for $97.7 million (-37%), 1,668 cars (-2%) from the UK for $91.1 million (+31%), 3,000 cars (-31%)

from Germany for $80.6 million (-5%) and 7,959 cars (-5%) from the USA for $72 million (+3%).

Last year,three cars for $54,200 were delivered from the Reunion Island for the first time in the last 14 years (according to official foreign trade statistics for the period up to 2011).
