February 23, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani citizens purchased 54 apartments in Turkey in January 2026 (4 apartments, or 8% more against January 2025), ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Statistical Office of Turkey.

Last month, Azerbaijani citizens took the 7th place and entered Top 10 in the list of home buyers in Turkey.

In total, 1,311 apartments were sold to foreign citizens in Turkey in January 2026 (247 apartments, or 15.8% less versus January 2024).

In January of this year, Russian citizens bought the most housing in Turkey. They sold 219 apartments (29 apartments, or 11.7% less than in January 2025).

The next place was taken by Iranian citizens. In January, 118 apartments were sold to them in this country (44 apartments, or 27.2% less year-on-year).

The 3rd place in the list of home buyers in Turkey was taken by citizens of Ukraine. In January, Ukrainian citizens purchased 77 apartments in Turkey (17 apartments, or 18.1% less than in the first month of 2025).

In 2025, Azerbaijani citizens purchased 944 apartments in Turkey.
