February 25, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, a total of 552,237 marriages were registered in Turkey.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the Turkish Statistical Office, 1,936 women among them were Azerbaijani citizens and 253 men were Azerbaijanis.

Syrians ranked first among the foreign suitors - 1,117 men. They are followed by Germans and Afghans.

Syrian women were the most frequently married among foreign brides - 3,954 women. Uzbek women are in second place, and Moroccan women are in third.

The statistical data shows a decrease on the number of marriages in Turkey.
