February 27, Fineko/abc.az. In Russia, every third company already hires foreign employees, and more than 40% are ready to follow their example. 13% of employers consider citizens from Africa and India. Due to staff shortages and limited opportunities to participate in the "salary race", Russia is becoming increasingly attractive to migrants.

ABC.AZ reports that in 2026, the quota for workers from visa-eligible countries has been increased to 279,000 people, which is 19% more than a year earlier. Experts note that Russia is gradually occupying vacant niches in more expensive or closed labor markets. Foreigners are offered official contracts of up to three years, housing and medical insurance. In logistics, construction, and trade, the shortage of workers reaches 40-50%, and companies cannot fulfill orders without foreign personnel.

Earlier it was reported that Russia is increasing the attraction of labor from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, China and other countries amid demographic challenges.
