Nvidia and Amazon temporarily close offices in Dubai

March 4, Fineko/abc.az. American corporations Nvidia and Amazon have temporarily closed their offices in Dubai amid security threats because of the war in Iran.

ABC.AZ informs that at the same time, Amazon has decided to close all of its offices in the Middle East. The group urged its employees to work from home and follow the instructions of local authorities. According to the American TV channel, Amazon's infrastructure in the UAE was physically damaged due to drone attacks.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang also transferred his employees in Dubai to remote work format. He noted that the company is in touch with 6,000 employees based in Israel.

Meanwhile, dozens of employees of Google's cloud division were blocked in Dubai after the conference because of cancellation of more than 11,000 flights in the region.
