Turkish Airlines cancels flights to Iran until March 20

March 6, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish Airlines has cancelled flights to Iran until March 20, while Pegasus Airlines suspended flights to Iran until March 12, and other airlines will also not operate flights until at least March 9, ABC.AZ informs, citing Turkish Minister of Transport & Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu.

The minister wrote on X that flights to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan, which are currently operated by Turkish Airlines, AJet, Pegasus and SunExpress, have been suspended until the end of the day on March 9.

Uraloglu also said that currently the airspace over Iran, Israel, Iraq, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Syria remains closed.

According to Uraloglu, partial flights over Oman, Jordan and Saudi Arabia are continuing, while in the UAE, air traffic is controlled and carried out in a limited mode.
