March 10, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, American company Apple increased iPhone production in India roughly by 53%. Now close to a quarter of all company's smartphones are manufactured in this country.

ABC.AZ informs that around 55 million iPhones were assembled in India in 2025, compared to 36 million a year earlier. The total global output of Apple smartphones is approx. 220-230 million devices a year.

The increase in production in India is linked with supply difficulties from China because of U.S.’ duties, which forced the company to shift part of production for the U.S. market to other countries.
