March 12, Fineko/abc.az. The global telecommunications industry has reached consensus on the directions of development of 6G technology, and its standards are to be approved by about 2030.

ABC.AZ reports that the new network will be based on the integration of sensors, communications and artificial intelligence, as well as the integration of space, air and ground infrastructure. 6G is expected to significantly boost data transfer speeds, reduce latency, and enable more devices to be connected.

China began research in the field of 6G back in 2018, and the transition to standardization and industrial implementation was outlined in 2024.
