March 12, Fineko/abc.az. In January 2026, the average daily oil exports via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline totaled 523,000 barrels.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to Report, that compared with December 2025, oil transportation via BTC dropped by 7%, or by 39,000 b/d.

Compared with January 2025, oil transportation via the pipeline fell by 14% or 86,000 barrels.

Let's remind that the opening of BTC took place on July 13, 2006. Its length is 1,768 km: 443 km passes through Azerbaijan, 249 km through Georgia and 1,076 km through Turkey.
