List of states with largest share of foreign investments in fixed assets in Azerbaijan

March 13, Fineko/abc.az. The countries with the largest share of foreign investments in fixed assets in Azerbaijan in 2025 have been published.

ABC.AZ informs that this is stated in the Report on Azerbaijan’s Cabinet Ministers activity for 2025, submitted for today’s discussion at Milli Majlis session.

According to the report, out of 21.2 bn of investments in fixed assets in the country last year made up 19.8% or 4.2 billion manats were generated from external sources. 96.3% out of 4 bn manats invested in fixed assets at the expense of funds from foreign countries and international organizations belonged to investors from the UK, the UAE, Turkey, Russia, the U.S., Switzerland, Japan, Iran, Hungary, India and France.

As a whole, in 2025, 21.2 billion manats were directed from all sources of financing to fixed assets for development of economic and social spheres of Azerbaijan. Of them, 74.8%, or 15.9 billion manats invested in the non-oil/gas sector, and 25.2%, or 5.3 billion manats in the oil & gas sector. Compared with the previous year, funds invested in country's economy by private investors grew by 11.5%, including investments in the non-oil/gas sector by 11.1%.
