March 13, Fineko/abc.az. Engineering & geological vessel ‘Mammad Suleymanov’ of ASCO, part of AZCON Holding, participates in the exploration of the seabed at the Goshadash site located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.

ABC.AZ informs that prior to the start of work, the vessel was equipped with the necessary equipment at the Garadagh port in preparation for the project.

The Mammad Suleymanov vessel is designed to conduct engineering and geological surveys of the seabed and prepare an engineering and geological plan to ensure the construction of stationary offshore hydraulic structures and the installation of floating drilling rigs on the continental shelf of the sea.

The geological structure of the upper layer of sedimentary rocks is studied using a vessel at depths of up to 300 m with the use of seismic and acoustic methods, as well as by sampling soil samples.
