March 16, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, Azerbaijan imported 238.842 million cu m meters of natural gas from Turkmenistan for $36.408 million.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that compared with 2024, gas imports from Turkmenistan decreased in value by $24.368 million, or 40.1%, and in quantitative terms by 166.33 million cu m, or 41%.

In 2024, 405.172 million cu mof natural gas for $60.776 million were imported from Turkmenistan.

By the end of 2025, the average import price per 1,000 cu m of natural gas imported from Turkmenistan was $152.4 (nearly 259 manats). In 2024, this figure was $150 (close to 255 manats).

Despite the recession, Turkmenistan remains the largest supplier of gas to Azerbaijan this year.
