March 16, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, Azerbaijan exported 187,545 tons of persimmons for $144.2 million (a rise of 27% in cost and 22% in volume against 2024), ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan sold 141,867 tons (+8%) of persimmons for $106.52 million to Russia (10% more than a year ago), 17,407 tons (+8%) to Ukraine for $16.82 million (+30%), 21,401 tons (+8-fold) to Turkey for $14.33 million (+8-fold), 3,649 tons (+5-fold) to Belarus for $4.11 million (+5-fold), and 1,605 tons (+44 %) to Kazakhstan for $856,000 (+15%).

Last year, for the first time in the last 14 years (note: official statistics on foreign trade are publicly available until 2011), Azerbaijan delivered persimmons to Syria (17.83 tons for $10,700).
