Average speed of fixed broadband Internet access increased by 2% in February

March 16, Fineko/abc.az. In February, the median speed of fixed broadband Internet in Azerbaijan increased up to 2% and mobile Internet up to 3%.

ABC.AZ reports, citing the Agency for Information & Communication Technologies (IKTA), that last month, compared with a year earlier (69.15 Mbps), the average speed of fixed broadband Internet in the country grew by 32%.

According to this indicator, Azerbaijan is ahead of Turkey (77.68 Mbps), Iran (23.53 Mbps), Georgia (44.35 Mbps), Armenia (82.77 Mbps), Belarus (90.78 Mbps), Kazakhstan (88.13 Mbps), Kyrgyzstan (85.25 Mbps) and Tajikistan (41.85 Mbps).
