November 19, Fineko/abc.az. Belarus and Azerbaijan intend to develop jointly the markets of third countries.

BelTA reports that this fact was underlined by President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus in talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart  Ilham Aliyev.

"Both countries laid the foundation for broad industrial cooperation. A worthy example of such work was demonstrated by the flagships of the Belarusian engineering industry - MTZ and MAZ, and Azerbaijan-based Ganja Automobile Plant. More than 10,000 tractors and 3,500 motor vehicles have already been assembled in Ganja. Today, we’re ready to start a fundamentally new stage of cooperation - joint development of the markets of third countries," Lukashenko stated.

He added that the project of tractor production in Turkey with participation of the Minsk and Ganja auto plants is in a high degree of readiness.

"Such initiatives are the future, and they need to be emphasized," Lukashenko is sure.
