December 5, Fineko/abc.az. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov is likely to visit Azerbaijan in the middle of December.

Maria Zakharova, official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has stated that the Russian FM will take part in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) to be held in Baku on 14 December.

"The Baku meeting will sum up the results of Azerbaijan's semi-annual chairmanship in BSEC, which was held under the motto of strengthening the inter-relation of the Black Sea region with special attention to trade issues. A wide range of issues on the regional agenda in the field of economic cooperation will also be considered, including such topical sectoral issues as transport, energy, agriculture, science, technology, health care," Zakharova said.
