Milli Majlis has started today this year’s autumn session.

At the opening parliament speaker Ogtay Asadov has stated that during 14 meetings of the spring session the parliamentarians passed 268 laws and decisions.

"Work on expansion of international relations was carried out during the spring session. Milli Majlis is a member in 10 international parliamentary assemblies and conducts active work in all of them," the speaker said.

He added that the action plan for the autumn session of Milli Majlis has been adopted in 15 committees and recommended for consideration at a plenary session.

"During the autumn session the MPs will also discuss a range of legislative packages, including the package of budget bills," Asadov emphasized.
