For past 10 years SOCAR cleaned more than 1,900 ha of polluted land from oil

January 30, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Company reports that reclamation works have been conducted on more than 1,900 hectares of land over the past 10 years.
Buildings of the Baku Olympic Stadium, the Baku Higher Oil School and the Bibiheybatneft Oil & Gas Division were built in the area of those oil-polluted territories after their cleaning. Besides, Eco-Park was constructed on the about 10-hectare oil-cleared area in Gala settlement.
