Azerbaijan’s head received Turkish delegates headed by FM - UPDATED

November 30, Fineko/abc.az. A Turkish delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs is paying a visit to Baku currently.

President Ilham Aliyev has received the delegation led by Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu of Turkey.

President Aliyev highly appreciated the trilateral meeting between Azerbaijan, Turkey and Pakistan.

"Tripartite format of cooperation with participation of Azerbaijan and Turkey serve as deepening of bilateral relationships between Baku and Ankara, and expansion of multilateral cooperation," the president stressed.

In his turn, Mevlut Cavusoglu underlined significance of the ongoing large-scale projects with involvement of Azerbaijan and Turkey, including construction of the Trans-Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP), and opening of railway line Baku-Tbilisi-Kars.

The sides also exchanged views on the question of Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
