May 24, Fineko/abc.az. On 24 May, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on financial assistance to religious organizations in Azerbaijan.

In accordance with the decree, for the purposes of financial assistance to religious organizations in Azerbaijan, it will be allocated AZN 2 million to the Caucasus Muslims Department, AZN 350,000 to the Baku and Azerbaijan Eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church, AZN 350,000 to the Religious Community of Mountain Jews of Baku, AZN 150,000 to the Religious Community of European Jews in Baku, AZN 150,000 to the Religious Organization of Apostolic Prefecture of the Catholic Church and AZN 150,000 to the Albanian-Udi Christian Community and AZN 100,000 to the Fund of Religious Values under the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan to provide financial support to other non-Islamic religious communities.
