Over AZN 4.2 million of subsidies to be given to beekeepers

July 17, Fineko/abc.az. A meeting on the matter of subsidies to individuals and legal entities engaged in beekeeping has been conducted at the Ministry of Agriculture.

The MoA reports that the meeting participants considered the appeals of 60 district commissions.

The Republican Commission on 1,927 administrative-territorial units made a decision on payment of subsidies in the amount of AZN 4.265 million this year to 19,807 individuals and legal entities involved in beekeeping, which breed 426,533 bee colonies (hives).

Following the meeting a decision was taken to send appeals and documents on the occasion of subsidies to the Ministry of Finance.
