Azerbaijani and Armenian FMs held a meeting within Karabakh conflict talks


December 7, Fineko/abc.az. Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov of Azerbaijan met with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian in Vienna.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that the Vienna meeting between the two FMs was held with mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs.

The parties discussed the question of settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

"Serious, logical, and concrete negotiations are necessary for fastest settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict requires," the MFA says in a statement.

FM Mammadyarov said that the meeting was positive and constructive.

The sides agreed that the next meeting of the FMs of Azerbaijan and Armenia will be conducted within the framework of the Karabakh conflict settlement in the 2nd half of January 2018.
