Azerbaijan cancels visa requirement for Turkish citizens

July 25, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan cancels visa requirement for Turkish citizens with general civil passports from 1 September 2019.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan sent a note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey on the abolition of visa requirements.

It was added that the status of Turkish citizens wishing to stay in the territory of Azerbaijan for more than 30 days will be regulated by the relevant laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to Turkish government’s decree, citizens of Azerbaijan, who arrived in this country for a period of up to 30 days, are exempt from visa requirements.
