September 16, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan, Italy, Great Britain, Portugal and Belgium are among the top five for sightseeing holidays.

The tourist portal TourStat presented information on which foreign countries most often vote in the National Geographic Traveler Awards 2019 on the best destinations for recreation according to September 16, 2019.

“For a wellness stay ahead of the Czech Republic and Jordan. For ski holidays - Switzerland and Austria. For sightseeing holidays - Italy and the UK. For family holidays - Spain and Bulgaria, for beach holidays - Greece and Turkey, for exotic - Japan and Brazil, for gastronomic travels - Georgia, for adventure holidays - Iceland, ” said TurStat.

In the nomination “Excursion Holidays” 44% of the votes were cast for Italy, 35% for the UK, 10% for Portugal, 7% for Azerbaijan, and 4% for Belgium.

Voting on the National Geographic Russia website will last until October 12.
