October 23, Fineko/abc.az. The most popular and discussed social program is the program of targeted social assistance.

Our assessment also shows that the TSA Program needs to be improved.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Vugar Bayramov, the head of the Center for Economic & Social Development, who presented a brief description of the mechanism prepared by the organization in connection with the reforms in the social sphere.

"We propose to rebrand the Program. Our monitoring shows that among the citizens the TSA Program is called "Shesh-Gosha" ("Two Six"),” the economist said.

Bayramov also explained the reason for such a name of TSA: “It is linked with principle ‘6-6’, when TSA for 6 months was received by an official and then by a citizen to whom this assistance is designed. However, these problems have already been eliminated. But that does not cause trust to this program. Currently, the reputation of TSA among the public is quite low. As a whole, it is almost impossible to carry out reforms within this program without changing the name of the program."
