October 23, Fineko/abc.az. The Center for Economic & Social Development has presented a brief description of the mechanism developed in connection with reforms in the social sphere.

ABC.AZ reports that Center’s head and economist Vugar Bayramov informed about brief description of the mechanism.

He noted that within the framework of the targeted social assistance program it is important to simplify the mechanism of applying for TSA and increase the number of TSA applicants.

"For example, it is not clear why the average monthly cost per person of a family for the last 12 months for a mobile phone is taken into account. In particular, changes should be made in connection with public utility services," Bayramov said.

The expert also added that it is necessary to change the share of public utilities and increase the number of our citizens who will use TSA, as well as to consider and increase the TSA amount: "As after raising the minimum wage within the TSA program, it is necessary to adapt the amount of funds not to the minimum criterion of consumption, but to the minimum wage, so that even more citizens can benefit from TSA. And that it was possible to increase the funds paid to the citizen within the program."
