November 14, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 10 months the banks in Azerbaijan gave loans for AZN 7 bn.

ABC.AZ informs that the statement was made by Ibrahim Alyshov, acting head of the Financial Market Supervision Authority at forum on the theme "Transparency in access to financial markets of small & medium-sized businesses: the current state & prospects", held on 14 November.

He noted that out of this amount, AZN 3.1 bn are intended for consumer loans and AZN 3.9 bn for business.

According to Alyshov, AZN 6 bn are accounted for consumer loans and the remaining AZN 7.6 bn for business loans.

"The loan portfolio of non-bank credit institutions is AZN 220 million," Alyshov emphasized.
