December 5, Fineko/abc.az. Russian analytical agency Turstat has published the rating of tourists by country affiliation, who visited Russia for Jan-Sept 2019.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijan occupies the 4th place in the rating with 684,000 tourist trips to Russia. An increase in the number of visits was recorded. Growth made up 3% or 19,000 people against the reported term of 2018.

The total number of foreign citizens who left for Russia during the reporting period amounted to 19.064 million that means a slight decrease versus last year: for the first 9 months of 2018, 19.245 million people arrived in Russia. 

The 1st place in the ranking was taken by Ukraine with 5.944 million trips (6.7% or 429,000 trips less against the 2018 same term). TOP 5 also included Kazakhstan (more than 2 million visits), China (1.594 million visits) and Finland (681,000 visits).
