SOCAR and Total discuss prospects for cooperation in Absheron field development

December 21, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Total Company discussed prospects for cooperation.

SOCAR reports that president of the company Rovnag Abdullayev received Vice President of Total for countries of Southern Europe and the Caspian region Bernard Clement.

"During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation, exchanged views on the development of the Absheron gas condensate field," it was reported.

In September 2011 Total approved the presence of 326 billion cubic meters of gas and 108 million tons of condensate in the Absheron field.
