December 20, Fineko/abc.az. Volume of goods and services produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs in Baku for Jan-Nov 2019 amounted to AZN 36 bn (6.5% less versus the 2018 same term).

ABC.AZ was informed by the Baku Statistics Department that 80.5% of industrial products were produced in the mining sector, 17.5% in the manufacturing sector, 1.4% in the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0.6% in water supply, treatment and recycling.

According to the data, over the past period of the year the share of the private sector in industrial sector made up 83.8%. The share of industrial products in the total production makes up 88.7% and industrial services 11.3%.

"Most of the products were delivered to consumers, with taking into account the reserves that arose in previous periods the finished products for AZN 212.7 million were prepared at warehouses of industrial enterprises as of 1 December 2019. The warehouses of industrial enterprises also stored other products for AZN 72.6 million, purchased from other enterprises and intended for sale," the Dept reports.
