December 26, Fineko/abc.az. The non-payers of insurance contributions on time will pay additional interests.

This is known from the Presidential Decree on the regulation of a number of matters related to the application of the Law on the amendments to the Tax Code of Azerbaijan from 29 November 2019 and on the application of this law.

The Decree says that in accord with Article 15-9.2 of the Law on Health Insurance 50% of the financial sanctions applied by tax authorities will be distributed in a number of forms for violation of the requirements of this law.

Thus, 5% of them will be transferred to the account of the Presidential Administration in order to strengthen the social protection of civil servants working in the Administration.

With the purpose to strengthen material-technical base and social protection of workers of the Ministry of Economy 12.5% will be transferred to the account of the Ministry and 12.5% to the account of the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance and social protection of workers.
