Azerbaijan raises syndicated loan worth $524.5 mln for Shah Deniz project development

December 22, Fineko/abc.az. CJSC Southern Gas Corridor has raised a syndicated loan worth $524.5 mln.

The CJSC reports that the syndicated loan was allocated to support the Shah-Deniz development project under the guarantees of the Azerbaijani government and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

"The guarantee agreement was signed by the Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov, the loan agreement was signed by the head of CJSC Afgan Isayev," the message says.

Earlier in May, the Asian Development Bank allocated $500 mln to Azerbaijan for 15 years under state guarantees.
